Office space Midtown, London

Without a doubt London’s ‘Midtown’ has become the place to be for businesses. It’s attracting much media attention as it continues to undergo major redevelopment, which is transforming it from a once-overlooked to a key business hotspot. Find out more below.

Why choose offices in Midtown?

An area of London incorporating Bloomsbury, Holborn and St Giles, Midtown used to be little more than a thoroughfare connecting the City and the West End. But it has seen a complete transformation in recent years as millions of pounds have been invested into the area. Developments include the £350 million conversion of Centre Point into a luxury tower block surrounded at ground level by a halo of shops, restaurants and open spaces.

The area has attracted some of the world’s biggest business names, as well as start-ups and fast-growing SMEs. Residents range from technology organisations (Google and Mindshare), media and entertainment firms such as DreamWorks and Warner Brothers, to law specialists, with solicitor Mishcon de Reya moving to the refurbished Africa House (a £22m project).

The Midtown Business Club, London's fastest-growing business group, is also located in the area. The Club is focused on providing new business opportunities, promoting Midtown as a business location and representing local businesses.

Midtown is going to benefit from a further £15m boost from private investment, led by inmidtown. This investment, coupled with future transport developments, will secure Midtown’s future as a great business location. Crossrail will be running straight through the area, with connections at Tottenham Court Road and Farringdon. Holborn Tube station is also undergoing a £250m+ modernisation and expects to see 50% more visitors by 2031.
