London’s SE11 postal area boasts some commercially successful locations, with properties cheaper than those on the other side of the Thames. Why choose offices in SE11?

The majority of the SE11 area is taken up by Kennington, a London district that increasingly allures new and growing businesses. In recent years Kennington has experienced a modernisation process, driven by the advantages of its location and good transport links. The West End and the City are all easily accessible.

Only a section of Vauxhall is included in the SE11 postcode, but many businesses have been attracted by its central location and comparatively cheap rent – much like the rest of the area. A large area of Vauxhall contains light industry, offices and government buildings and there are a number of new commercial businesses moving into the area.

The SE11 area as a whole benefits from multiple transport links. Kennington locals have the choice of three Tube stations: Kennington and Oval stations on the Northern Line and Lambeth North on the Bakerloo Line. And there are mainline stations at Vauxhall and nearby Elephant & Castle too.

The area is also extremely well connection by road, taking under an hour to reach the M25, or 40 minutes to the M1 if you’re heading north. Travelling more locally there are several key roads running through SE11, including Kennington Park Road (A3), which passes Kennington station and Kennington Park, and Camberwell New Road (part of the A202), which goes from Camberwell to Kennington Oval.
