Why choose offices in SE6?

The SE6 postcode area is home to Catford. Together with neighbouring Lewisham, a large commercial area and major transport interchange, Catford has become a popular commuter town. Young professionals and middle-class families are attracted there and in terms of property, both residential and commercial, tenants can get real value for money.

SE6 is also a prime spot for regeneration and the Catford Town Centre Area Action Plan is designed to highlight areas most in need of major redevelopment. In the meantime, £1.5 million has been secured from the Mayor of London's Outer London Fund to make improvements to Catford Broadway which would benefit businesses, residents and shoppers.

The Docklands Light Railway has brought about major changes to the area as young business professionals have great access to the city and Docklands. Transport for London is currently considering the extension of the Docklands Light Railway from Lewisham to Bromley, with the first phase being from Lewisham to Catford.

But there are already excellent rail and road links. Catford and Catford Bridge rail stations both run services to central London. Travel to London Bridge takes just over 20 minutes from Catford and it’s just half an hour to Kings Cross Station and St Pancras International. By road it takes 20 minutes to reach the M25 if you’re heading out of London, while the A205 South Circular runs through SE6 and puts Gatwick Airport within an hour’s drive.
