Probably the first reason to rent offices here is its great location – you’re just one stop from Canary Wharf, with its concentration of banks, services and media companies, and only 10 minutes from Westminster on the Jubilee line, with Bond Street’s luxury shopping just five minutes beyond that. 

The addition of the London Overground service in 2010 means the City of London is really handy too, with a 10-minute journey taking you to Shoreditch High Street near Liverpool Street Station. And from 2018, the new £16bn Crossrail service will place Canada Water within an hour’s travel time of Heathrow.

A bit later to the party than other parts of Docklands, Canada Water is now benefiting from a programme of extensive development work, that will see new residential developments, civic amenities such as the new library, lakeside cafes and restaurants and a redeveloped shopping mall. King’s College London is also planning a new campus at Canada Water, meaning the area should also take on a buzzy, student vibe.
