Office space in Leek

Seeking a convenient office location that attracts big business while being surrounded by the beauty of a National Park? Take a look at Leek! Office Genie will help you discover the potential of this town on the edge of the Peak District and the rental opportunities available there – all on this very page.

Why choose offices in Leek?

A traditional market town, Leek has retained its historical character while moving well and truly into the 21st century. It has long been linked with the textiles industry, but today Leek has very much broadened its commercial spectrum. Today it is home to a wide range of businesses; in fact there were 3,650 VAT registered businesses in the Staffordshire Moorlands in 2006 and the number has been growing steadily since.

Significant employers based in the area include the headquarters of Britannia, one of the largest building societies in the country. Famous theme park Alton Towers is also located in the Staffordshire Moorlands, and employs approximately 1,200 people from Leek and the surrounding area.

The theme park is just one of several tourist attractions bringing people and potential customers to Leek. It offers visitors (and workers on a lunch break!) the opportunity to peruse its markets and independent shops or enjoy its scenery. It is situated at the foot of the Peak District National Park and therefore often referred to as the Gateway to the Peak District.

In contrast to its relaxing surroundings, Leek also lies just 10 miles east of the North Staffordshire conurbation. And other key business areas such as Derbyshire, Cheshire and Manchester are easily accessible via numerous bus services.

The town doesn’t currently have its own train station, although the reintroduction of a railway service is being directed. In the meantime there are nearby stations at Stoke-on-Trent (12 miles), Macclesfield (13 miles) and Buxton (13 miles) and there are frequent connecting bus services available.

Office space options in Leek

How much office space do you need to rent? What commitment do you want to make? And how much do you want to pay? These questions will influence whether you go for a cheap, long-term lease from a landlord; a more flexible lease on an all-inclusive serviced office; or a modern deskspace for rent within a shared office.

These are the three main office types we specialise in at Office Genie and there are many in the Leek area, so you can begin your search right here. If you can’t find that ideal space immediately or you have any questions you can always call our helpline. And remember, we’re updating our stock all the time so visit us again soon!
