Office space Middlesbrough

Welcome to Office Genie, the home of the best office space rental on the web – and more specifically here in the large industrial town of Middlesbrough. If you’re looking to rent an office on Teesside we’re here to help, with a host of business centres and complexes in both the town and local area.

Why choose offices in Middlesbrough?

Perched on the border between Yorkshire and County Durham, Middlesborough is now a ‘unitary authority’ with a population of more than 150,000 – but its still Teeside to us. According to ‘Municipal Journal’ Middlesbrough has the second best growth rate in England in terms of new businesses, with other reports showing startup rates at nearly 10% from 2008-2012. In addition Experian ranked the town fourth in the country in terms of both actual and potential growth.

The area has strong connections with both the chemical and engineering industries, while nearby Teesport (five miles east) is the third largest port in the UK. Beyond heavy industry Middlesbrough is also becoming a hub for digital businesses, largely thanks to pioneering digital animation work being done at Teesside University.

Middlesbrough is about a 20-minute drive from the A1(M), with Newcastle and Sunderland 30 minutes drive to the north and Leeds (and Leeds Bradford International Airport) around an hour to the south. London, Edinburgh and Birmingham are all a three-hour train journey away.
