Stepney Green Station is the London Underground station at the heart of Stepney in east London. Located on the A11 between Mile End and Whitechapel, Stepney Green Station is only 15 minutes by road from J4 of the M11. It’s only a mile away from Victoria Park, and half a mile from Millennium Park at Mile End. It’s half a mile, too, from the Regent’s Park Canal. A mile north is the V&A Museum of Childhood, while the same distance to the south of the station is the Troxy Art Deco cinema and event venue.
Stepney Green Station is in the Stepney Green and Globe Town neighbourhoods of Tower Hamlets council. It falls under the auspices of the East London Chamber of Commerce, offering networking events, expert advice and discounted venue hire.
The station is on the District Line, with direct trains to Barking, Upminster, Ealing Broadway and, at peak times, Wimbledon. It’s also served by the Hammersmith and City Line, with direct trains to Barking and Hammersmith via King’s Cross. The journey to Hammersmith takes around 40 minutes.
Bustling Stratford is only five minutes or so away via the Central Line at Mile End station. Both Stepney Green Station and Mile End serve the nearby campus of Queen Mary, University of London.
