W3 is an area on the up! Largely made up of the Acton district, current regeneration plans intend to turn W3 into the Canary Wharf of West London. This will bring with it 24,000 homes, 55,000 jobs and a Crossrail/HS2 railway hub.

Meanwhile North Acton has been the location of new commercial redevelopment, including the Black Island Film Studios, the largest of their kind in central London. Also in the postcode district is Park Royal, home to the largest business park in London, which contains over 1,200 businesses.  

The suburb of Acton in W3 is famous as the place with seven railway stations containing the town’s name. And the big news making this area a hotspot is that the journey times are soon to be transformed by the arrival in 2018 of Crossrail at Acton Mainline station. Crossrail will cut the journey to central London to just nine minutes and to Canary Wharf to 23 minutes.
