Desk Rental / Shared Office Space Leeds

Accessibility
When you choose a site, particularly away from London, a key concern is accessibility. Stop worrying, this is no concern when it comes to Leeds. By road there are great connections across the country using the M62 and M1. Leeds city centre has 2million people within a half an hour drive of it and is known as lying at the crossroads of the UK transportation network. Congestion is not bad at all, mainly due to the provision of the FreeCity Bus taking citizens around the key parts of Leeds. The average traffic speed in the peak morning period is 25mph compared to 14mph in London.
The train is also an excellent mode of transportation with London being only a 2 hour, Edinburgh 3 hour and Manchester less than an hour's journey away. Recently £245million was invested into the tracks and station, making this station one of UK's busiest. There is also a direct link to St Pancreas and the Eurostar. International business is therefore popular in Leeds. This is also because of the Leeds Bradford International airport which can take businessmen to over 72 destinations. Being so accessible means that clients can get to you and you can get to clients. There is also the added advantage that there will be international businesses in close proximity, maybe even sharing your office space, so you can benefit from the different expertise.
It all revolves around knowledge
The city of Leeds has gained a reputation, and this reputation revolves around knowledge. Commercial knowledge is plentiful due to the vast number of businesses locate here. Leeds is the UK's largest centre for financial and professional services outside of London and has 30 international and national banks located here. HSBC, the world's largest bank chose Leeds as the base for the UK's first 24 hour telephone banking service First Direct. Finance is not its only specialism but also legal services, biotechnology and retail; it employs over 120,000 people in knowledge intensive occupations.
Knowledge also comes in the form of academic knowledge. The region of Leeds has over 250,000 students including some from world-class universities, University of Leeds and Leeds Metropolitan. With the city having such a great reputation, even if you do not benefit directly by renting a desk here, indirectly the impression given to clients and the skills of your potential neighbours is definitely a plus point.
