A part of Greater London now for 50 years, Bexley is a former parish of Kent. Bordering The Thames to the north, Dartford to the east and Woolwich to the west it holds a strong strategic location between the city and the south east of England.
There are great plans in place for Bexley in terms of regeneration. The council has an ambitious business plan ready for launch during 2015, ‘Bexley for Business’, while areas such as the Old Bexley Business Park provides both office and industrial units.
The A2 runs directly through the borough, to the south of Welling and Bexleyheath and the north of Bexley. You can be at London City Airport in half an hour by car or 45 minutes by public transport, while Gatwick is less than an hour. The M25 is a five minute drive from Bexley. By train you can be in central London (London Bridge, Jubilee and Northern lines) in around half an hour.
